Rural Initiative for Peace and Development Organization (RIPDO), South Sudan
Rural Initiative for Peace and Development Organization (RIPDO), South Sudan organized and conducted a variety of awareness raising campaigns, some in collaboration with the community-based organisation Peace Education and Rehabilitation Service (PEARS). The campaigns focused on clarifying the different types of SEA, informing on available reporting channels and barriers of reporting SEA and spreading PSEA key messages
- PSEA trainings with 381 participants in Magwi, Torit and Ikwoto counties which were attended by youth, IDPs, members of host communities, persons with disabilities, community and religious leaders and returnees/refugees.
- RIPDO designed, printed, produced, and distributed education and communication (IEC) materials in English which including T-shirts, banners, PSEA awareness booklets, PSEA training booklets and PSEA posters.
- Finally, RIPDO developed, recorded, and produced radio talk shows and jingles in five languages: English, Arabic, Lotuko, Lango and Acholi.
