Action for Rural Women’s Empowerment (ARUWE)_Uganda
To build awareness on PSEA and strengthen local capacities to report and demand PSEA accountability, ARUWE conducted a variety of campaigns including:
- organised a drama club with children and developed audio and video recordings of songs and poems in English and Alur as well as a documentary.
- developed printed materials (banners, posters, flyers, stickers and T-shirts) in English and Alur to raise awareness on PSEA, targeting members of affected communities. Printed materials for community outreach campaigns- Fliers, posters, banners, stickers, and T-shirts
- broadcasted PSEA messages through radio talk shows in both English and Alur.
