Description
The checklist is for use in the context of designing and deciding financial support to policy, projects, programmes and all other
types of initiatives that focus on adaptation specifically, or in which climate resilience is mainstreamed. It presents nine practices
that should feature in such initiatives in order to qualify as adaptation to climate change. The checklist and its use are described,
including a practical scoring method for use in screening concepts, proposals and implementation plans for their incorporation of
and compliance with adaptation good practices.
