This event aimed to critically evaluate and question how dominant definitions of "life-saving" humanitarian action shape funding and operational decisions, along with how these choices can unintentionally exclude those most at risk.

It also assessed how centering affected communities and inclusion in the design, implementation, and monitoring of critical relief efforts can make them truly life-saving for everyone.
