ACBAR Assessment of AAP Coordination in Afghanistan

As co-chair of the newly merged Accountability & Disability Inclusion (ADI) Working Group (formerly AAP and DI), ACBAR is committed to working with our co-chair colleagues at UNFPA and all members of the working group to improve NGO engagement, participation and buy-in to this coordination space.  The purpose of this assessment was to look specifically at the current coordination mechanisms - to understand the role of NGOs in leading, influencing and participating in AAP coordination, how this coordination interfaces with local communities, how current achievements support NGO partners, and how we can continue to refresh or reset approaches to coordination.

More than 100 organisations and individuals from national and international NGOs, ACBAR members, UN agencies, and donors participated in the assessment.
